I sat down to watch this because Morgan Freeman was in it and I never miss one of his movies. I came away from it having truly been touched, I found it to have all the emotions we look for in a GREAT movie. A love story from so many angles and with so much passion. It takes you on a roller coaster from the very beginning and even when it ends you feel the need for more. Perfect cast. I watch alot of movies and I can honestly say that this is one of my TOP 10 of all time.

This was a beautiful movie. I had never heard about it, and was thrilled when I watched it. It is a story about life.

If you read the jacket of the movie, you might think this is a romantic "chick flick" but be warned, this is a disturbing, messed up series of escapades, beginning with the wife of Greg Kinnea's character Bradley introducing his wife to another woman who becomes her new lesbian lover. Morgan Freeman's character, Harry plays amateur shrink, explaining that it was just the inevitable, impersonal, irresistable force of love, nothing personal. This is disgusting, schlocky drek.

Despite having some of the greatest actors (Morgan Freeman, Jane Alexander, Greg Kinnear), this movie was very difficult to watch. The script was very hard to follow, and there were few redeeming qualities in the characters. I had to force myself to finish watching it and very nearly gave up on it. The darkness of all of the elements was never balanced by any light. A downer from beginning to end.

I found this movie very touching and poignant. It is not fast paced, it is not in your face at all. What it IS, is very queitly effecitive at exploring and devling into relationships between people, love in all forms. I found it charming, touching and not at all sappy or treacly. Very nice movie I have already recommended to a number of people.

OK, Seriously how many times can you show sex in a movie. It destroys even the idea of love.

This is two hours of my life I will never get back. I rented it because of the cast. This movie was beyond disappointing. My only recommendation on this movie is to remove it from the shelf.

I was hoping for a nice date-night movie. 'Sweet, mesmerizing intertwining fun romantic comedy' the box said. Lies. lies. lies. It starts with a Kinnear's wife leaving him for another woman. When she is upset about changes in her life, she yells at him and blames him for her adultery. Freeman basically mails in his performance as a kindly-friend-professor-wiseman sort. Kinnear's new love interest, and then fiance, is consistently cheating with a married man. If this is real life, then you need to get a life. This was just messed up. We didn't even finish it, which almost never happens for us. And the hour spent trying to get into the movie was wasted.
