Read MoreI loved Sin City and I thought that 300 was amazing, I am a big fan of Frank Millers work, but this is nothing in comparison, the only thing I can say is if you're going to see it don't have high hopes for it, please, in every movie there is something to respect, this one has great graphics, but as for the rest, the acting wasn't anything special, the story, was alright, but there were some things that just didn't seem right and there are a few parts you just want to be over already, don't see it in the theaters save the money and add it to your queue Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Why any one would take such a unique ... Read MoreI looked forward to this movie as I was a fan of the "Spirit" comics. This movie is a miserable adaptation and was a major disappointment. This is NOT the Spirit. Why any one would take such a unique and interesting character and then mutilate him in to whatever they thought he should be is beyond me. Besides the abysmal failure to stay true to the character, the acting, direction, and everything else was hideous. The exception was Gabriel Macht (the Spirit) who was ideal. Sam Jackson over acted, Eva Mendez career is over, Scarlet Johansen has relegated herself to the "she could have been good sometime, somewhere" status and you won't care about the rest. If this Christmas turkey doesn't end a few careers, it'll be amazing. Hopefully, some one down the line will realize the potential of the Spirit and make a decent film. Pass this one...it's really that bad. I could go on about all things wrong this movie, but I don't have the space. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
