Read More I think as I've grown older I've lost the interest in horror movies b/c what's been churned out lately are just rehashings of what's been out before but that happens. one thing i hate to have to watch in a movie is a rape scene and the first one and this one are filled w/ disgusting, graphic scenes that just make you feel dirty inside. the movie in itself is predictable and plods along w/ one bloody scene after another. the mutants are of course have superhuman strength, can move like ninjas, and can take more punishment than the terminator. I pray to God Almighty they do not make another and if they do I wont waste my time on it. horror is really a genre that is just getting boring and instead of real scares Hollywood's trying to push the gore factor w/ blood and horrific rape scenes. just sick in my opinion. try some originality please. Read More The movie got a horrible rep around the horror world, but I actually found it mindless fun. At the beginning of the movie I thought it was going to be god awful, but it did get better. Horrible acting and dialog and only a decent script and story. The gore and cheesiness saved this movie. Craven needs to do something tricky like he used too, I am getting disappointed. Granted, it was more suspenseful than the first, and it was more cat and mouse. Less gore, more plot than the first. In many ways it was actually better in a different means. The blood gore was adequate and the killings were somewhat original. The best parts involved in the Port-a-Potty scene and fight scene involving the "survivors." Viewers should check out the special features involving the Wes Craven interview and the making of the graphic novel version of Hills. Both were interesting and kept my attention. Read More Ahh this movie was aweome... all i could do was laugh at the violent blood bath scences.. some people do really stupid things in movies to get killed.. and its funny...lol... if you like gore this is for you.. if you are faint at heart dont watch this!! I repeat dont watch it! lol... the acting was good... the first movie had more to do with the creatures thingies that were in the hills.. here we dont get as much but when you do.. man do you get violence... i think it was just as good or better than the first one... and be sure they are making a 3rd... Read More This is the sequel to the remake (not to be confused with the sequel to the original, which actually had a flashback from the dogs point of view. seriously). I thought the concept was pretty original and the set-up was interesting, but this movie is not suspensful and not intense with the exception of one scene. It is also EXTREMELY gross, and most of the time it is just gross to be gross (example: the opening scene is completely unneccesary and doesn't propel the story along at all. it is simply there to gross out the audience). anyway, this movie didn't have any nudity, although it does contain a rather graphic rape scene that goes on for far too long. it has bad language, a favorite being the F word. hopefully this will help you decide if you want to take a chance on what should have been a straight-to-video flick.
