Read MoreMaybe "A Mighty Heart" never really grabbed my attention because I was familiar with the real news story. If you knew who Daniel Pearl was prior to seeing this movie, you knew how it ended, so you enter this movie with the hope of discovering "a little more" than what you already knew from the news stories. I didn't know that journalists were frequently viewed as spies- that was interesting- but that was about it. I was impressed with the amount of police work the Pakistanis put into looking for Daniel Pearl, but again, I still don't feel that this story had to be made into a movie. I'm glad that there was no sort of re-enactment at all of Pearl's execution, because that would have been totally tasteless and "A Mighty Heart" would just be screaming exploitation film. The only thing this movie left me with wondering was: "Is that Angelina Jolie's real hair or a wig?" Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

The story of Daniel Pearl is noteworthy and the courage of Mariane Pearl is amazing. However, I struggled to stay awake during the movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

good but i had a hard time following. lasted longer than it should. horrible that it's based on a true story. suggest to watch so you can be aware of all the tragedy this war caused. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
