The storyline and the script were great. This movie does show how far and dangerous a reporter gets involved on some stories, anyways it was totally awesome I do recommend it. Read More Why didn't they just make a documentary instead of a movie flick. Half the time, I couldn't understand a word that Angelina Jolie slurred---does she talk with rocks or marbles in her mouth. I really do believe Jole is over-rated as an actress, as her performances in many movies is so terrible that I don't continue watching same, let alone even considered viewing them. It's sad that Daniel Perlman's murder has to be made into a bad movie instead of a documentary on his life. Don't watch this movie unless you want to be dumbfounded or bored. Read More Hard to place this film- I thought Angelina Jolie was wonderful, finally showing she can do serious stuff and not just be a beauty in action. But it dragged too much for me and I would have preferred a more narrative movie; the documentary feel distracted me from the story instead of pulling me into it, as I think was the intention. Read More While I hav'nt seen the movie as of yet{in my queue} I new Daniel as we grew up together in the San Fernando Valley.As this tragedy was unfolding my high school alum's stayed in prayer for the entire Pearl family..And although Dan was a few years behind me,I would see him almost every weekend during little league season.I pray for peace for his widow,and comfort in knowing that his son will never see his father,there are plenty of us that can paint a great picture of him.I look forward to recieving this film....peace Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read More This film was very moving. The suspense build up was great and the tactics used by the pakistan police showed a very brutal side or method of acquiring the truth. The only bad part of the movie is, at times its strayed from the movie and turned into documentary and back and forth. Angelina played the part well...thought her accent was on point.
