Read More I'm not someone who watches romantic comedies a lot, but when I heard Paul Soter, one of my favorite members of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe had written and directed his own film, and that one of my favorite new actors, Cillian Murphy, was going to be in it, I had to rent it. The result is awesome, both of the leads are great and they have a wonderful chemistry together that you just don't see in big-budget rom-coms, the script is funny and it keeps getting funnier and the direction is spot-on, why this didn't get a theatrical release I have no idea. Read More First off, Lets say that Lucy Liu does a great acting job of playing a LOONEY girl that is unstable in the head, to say the least. If she didnt do such a good acting job, this movie would have been a zero star movie. But the END result of this movie- even with her acting, this movie is rather plotless and pointless.Lucy Liu took this movie from a zero star to a two star movie which is admirable, but still NOT worth the watch. Repeat NOT a must watch..Unless you are some kind of a die hard Lucy liu Fan. Two stars is the best for this junker, despite the good acting on lucy's part of playing a Lunatic.. Read More I suffered through the entire movie because I usually feel compelled to finished a movie, no matter how bad it is. But this movie was very slow, not funny where it meant to be, and lacked a meaningful point at the end, or at least one good enough to justify the time I spent watching it. The twists were lame. I think part of the problem was that Cillian Murphy was cast incorrectly. He played the "film freak" well, but I didn't buy the relationship between him and Lucy Liu.
