Read MoreNot one of my favorite Nicolas Cage movies. Simple plot, some of the points did not connect. Why all of a sudden does he train Kong? Falling for a deaf woman who just happens to be great looking and then when she gets blood on her she runs away. No explanation aloud. It was just ok, the premise is good but then it just falls flat. Read MoreThis movie was very disappointing. I am a Cage fan for sure but the script is poor and unbelievable, the characters are not very engaging, and there are huge gaps in storyline. The action is sub-par as well. It feels like they didn;t have enough action sequences so they took the few they had shot and just made them longer. Finally, the resolution of the movie is unsatisfying and dark without actually being dark and interesting.
Sadly, I was in doubt about this movie about 20 minutes in and kept waiting for it to get better but it never did. In the end I wish I hadn't wasted my time. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
