I took different friends to see it because it has such a powerful message. The audience actually cheered in the theater. The acting is not hollywood glamour, it is in fact simple and humble but the story and the believability of these simple actors strike a chord on the heart strings of anyone living in the real world and whose prayers echo the words of the coach when he cries out to God to help him "I am facing giants of fear and failure". Read More I watched this movie with my 2 sons ages 9 and 12 and they liked it just as much as I did. I had heard about this movie but didn't realize until later that the casting was made up of non professional actors! Great movie! I recommend it to everyone. Read More this is the best movie i have ever seen and i'm 30yrs old. the no name actors were so believable...they acted better than some named actors i've seen in high budget movies. it was so moving, believable, and inspirational. i can't believe i waited this long to see it. and i can't imagine how anyone could not believe in the power of Jesus after seeing this movie. i am a movie freak and watch everything from horror to musical and this is the best movie i've ever seen! i wish i could give it more than 5 stars! Read More This movie was made for $100k, was written, directed and starred an actual Associate Pastor, used all non-professional actors, but has grossed over $10 million at the box office... THAT'S WHAT JESUS REFERS TO AS A HUNDRED-FOLD BLESSING! This film is nothing short of a miracle from God and has an annointing that very few films (Christian or otherwise) will ever have! It does start a little slow in the beginning, but the pay-off is so well worth the "delay of game!" Christians will absolutely love this film. Non-Christians may find it a little heavy-handed in some spots, but this film has Spirit-filled power to convert the lost and encourage Bible believers of all types!
