There was fear and revulsion, suspense and surprise. Nothing was predicable. I loved how there was something revealed about the characters' personal lives as the season progressed. I missed several shows and was delighted to be able to catch up on the ones I did not see last year. The finale this year was even more amazing than the first season's. Viewers will see there will be repercussions at the beginning of Season Three. Do not miss the Special Features at the end of Disc 6. There are interviews with the actors and a lot of inside information behind the scenes about the show. The Gag Reel is hysterical. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Unlike other shows, this one doesn't overload you with the personal lives of it's main cast. We get just enough about them to care but it's not one half crime drama, one half soap opera. This show is all about crime drama and it doesn't flinch from the ugliness of the subject matter. The writing and the acting are outstanding. They don't need explosions and shootouts to make a great product. While the critics may not have found a place for it on their favourites list, that's their loss. Again, I would call this one of the best shows on American television. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

This is a superb show. They slowly let you in on things about each character, making you like them more and more. The plot is the show though, and what plots they are ! They keep you on the edge of your seat throughout, and then you can't wait to start another episode. Better than Law & Order, now my Number #1 Show. Rent Season 1 & 2, then #3 to get to meet Joe Montegnra as he enters the group, as Mandy Patinkin leaves. It ties together very nicely and believeable. See It !!!
