I have never been a fan of musicals but had to see Johnny do one. The movie was so-so, there was a little too much singing for me. The plot was wonderful and the cast was great. Glad it was rented and not time spent at the theater to see it.

I can't believe there are so many good reviews for this movie. It was disgusting. Hard to understand the words to the songs and just plain gory. I like all different movie genre but this was so bad I just fast forwarded nearly the whole last 1/2 hour because it was one murder after the other. Awful.
