The production values are really good.Chad Allen has such varied and wonderful facial expressions. he and his lover play off of each other in ways that seem completely natural, and the kind of relationships most gay men dream about. I thought I had it figured out until the very end. Chad Allen and Sebastian Spence really are believable as gay lovers. I really loved their relationship. I recommended the first movie, Third Man Out, and I will do the same with this movie. I sure hope they make more in the series. Maybe I will go out and buy the books, you never know. This movie is better, so I gave it 3 stars. It was more serious...more like a murder/mystery. The acting was better...more believable. It kept you wondering "who dunnit". The ending was a little Hollywood-ish. But it was more professional than the first movie. I'll be honest...the cops and robbers genre really bores me. I'm glad I rented it, and I wouldn't consider buying it. It's just not good enough to buy. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
1 out of 1 people found this review helpful I am a big fan of suspense and mystery as well as enjoying gay themed movies. It was great to see a movie that had both. It was a good book first and the movie was great as well.WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I couldn't get through it, basically I wanted to puke. Why in a crime thriller with a gay detective do they need to throw in your face gay scenes? Men making out, a male-male BJ scene at the beginning. Not sure about the rest of the movie but I'm sure there is more. If this is what you are into I guess this movie is for you.
