Visual effects specialists Greg and Colin Strause both make their feature directorial debut with this no-holds-barred monster mash that attempts to set itself apart from the 2004 Paul W.S. Anderson original by serving as a straight-up sci-fi horror scarefest. The aliens (and a predator) have landed on planet Earth, and small-town America is about to become the scene of an epic interstellar showdown. As these two breeds of cosmic killers clash in the small-town streets Gunnison, CO, the locals are sent running for their lives. From the murky sewers to the rain-soaked streets, Gunnison has become a total bloodbath. Nowhere is safe, especially from the unstoppable new hybrid known as the "predalien." This movie was so bad. The acting was so scripted and turn based you almost knew what they were going to say next. The special effects were okay in some parts, but the whole movie was SO darn dark all the time that you couldn't even see what was happening. If you watch this movie it will be VERY hard to watch it twice. Only worth it if you're very very bored, and don't mind wasting time.

You know that this is going to be a thoughtless sequel from the opening screen. The sepulture that the alien is lying on at end of the first movie has curious red glowing readouts on the sides. This paltry attempt at a sequel didn't even try to get the first details right. And that sets the tone. Stay away from this boring piece of trash. It's a stinker from the first scene.

Well, it was entertaining, but just barely. It reminded me of the zombie-infestation movies, but with aliens instead of zombies. It definitely reminded me of the video games Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil. I did like the sequence with the two hunters in the beginning though.

This was a bad movie - I have to admit - but it also ended up being a guilty pleasure because it was so bad. It was just fun to sit and watch during a bad thunderstorm. Normally I would not have watched it - I swear it was a mix of every bad actor from half the drama shows out there and second rate actors trying to get into film. Silly, bad, but dang I had a fun, bad time with it. Blame a nasty storm.

Couldn't even make it past the first 1/2hr. But what do you expect when a couple of Visual effects specialist decide to direct a move. Stick to making aliens guys and not movies. I hope they didn't make Arnold screen this POS.
