Me and my wife enjoyed the movie at home. When I read the review I was little hesitant to pick this movie, but my wife who lost patience standing in blockbuster made me pick this movie up. Glad we chose this movie.
It is really a true thriller movie. The acting was great, the characters were extremely believable, and the tension was incredible.
I love horror/ thriller movies, but not movies with too much violence / vulgarity/ gross. An amount of gore is necessary to invoke fear of the villains, and I feel like the director of Vacancy used just enough.

For some reason, the film doesn't pull you in (the way a horror film should), though you cannot take your eyes off the screen. This movie was awful, awful. This is my first review - I felt I needed to warn those that may want to waste an hour and a half of their life. I'm not going to waste time here and give specifics as to why this is one of the worst movies I have seen, perhaps ever, but this is a movie I wish they could un-make.
