The story line goes back and forth from present time to a few days or week prior to a particular incident. It keeps you guessing. You can't just watch 5 minutes of a movie, especially this one. Acting is excellent by all the main characters. Melissa Tomei is "RED HOT" in this movie.

It's about time. Her character is pointless and used for the sole purpose of the men in her life's pleasures, but seeing her naked is worth the movie. I'm not a pervert or deviant of any sort, I've just never seen her this way before. I didn't care to see Phillip Seymour Hoffman naked from behind, but the scene was totally realistic. I can't believe this was the opening scene.
