The trick in this flick is that EVERYONE knows whodunit, but us! While it won the '83 Edgar Award for Best TV Feature (the well-written script is intricately woven, but this is not a whodunit you can solve). It's best for Robert Preston fans, and those who love them. He's in nearly every shot. There is a worthy supporting cast (though I'd hoped for more footage of Ms. Redgrave). ----SPOILER----> The criminal is not one of the presented suspects, nor known to us during the time of the murder (ALL activities are presumably off-camera), so it's a surprise in the last 10 minutes.
