An engaged young couple finds their lifetime of happiness unexpectedly compromised by a pushy minister who insists they successfully complete his comprehensive marriage-prep course before exchanging wedding vows in a matrimonial comedy starring John Krasinski, Mandy Moore, and Robin Williams. Sadie Jones (Moore) has always longed to marry the man of her dreams in her family church. Though she found her lifetime companion in Ben Murphy (Krasinski), Sadie is distressed to learn that St. Augustine's has only one wedding slot available over the next two years. While Sadie and Ben do qualify for the slot, charismatic St. Augustine's minister Reverend Frank (Williams) won't wed the couple until they agree to attend his two-week prenuptial course. Now, as their wedding date draws near, Sadie and Ben must attend every one of Reverend Frank's exhausting classes and complete a series of rigorous homework assignments designed specifically to test their dedication to one another and ensure that their union will have a sound foundation. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This movie is of course predictable but the charaters are funny and likable. There is a bit of a twist I couldn't figure out but then becomes obvious. Good chick flick.

This movie was better than I thought it was going to be. It is nice to finally see Robin Williams in a good comedy movie. This was a cute movie and I laughed several times. The ending was kind of lame. It went from a comedy to a romantic chick flick. I still say watch it, it is funnier than it is romantic.

This movie makes you understand why Robin Williams was able to go from stand-up to movies. Very good acting on all parts. Nice twist then I think they ran out of money and had to end the movie.

Very funny movie. I am a fan of Robin Williams and although I wanted to punch his character at times I truly enjoyed the movie. It's ending was predictable but it was a good movie anyway.

I was hoping for an hysterical comedy, but am dissapointed in relation to my expectations. This movie had potential, but failed to deliver. Very cheezy film and I said "that was stupid" quite often during the film.

I usually like funny stupid, but this was too stupid to be funny. There were some good parts, but for the most part I could have lived without it.

I adore Robin Williams but was so disappointed in this one. It was boring and I did not even finish watching it.

I really enjoyed this movie! I wasn't sure about it when I rented it, but it was probably my favorite romantic comedy that I have seen. I even liked it better than the Wedding Singer! I actually laughed out loud a couple of times. Highly recommended!

I rented this movie because of the Main Character, who also plays Jim on The Office. It wasn't a bad movie. He is actually a pretty good actor which makes up for Mandy Moore who isn't as talented acting wise but, who also makes up for most of it with her Beauty, (I'll let it slide this time). The movie was a bit predictable and had some corny cheesy moments but overall it was a decent movie with it's moments. I still can't believe Jim's ears are that big in real life though.

Terrible movie. A big disappointment coming from Robin Williams. Not a funny movie. We couldn't even finish it.
