Its written and filmed like an 80's comedy ... Read More Those thinking that this film is just another Malibu's Most Wanted are missing the real genius of this flick. This movie is an homage to the 80's gen. Its written and filmed like an 80's comedy (think Better Off Dead, Real Genius) and brings back all the cultural archetypes of that time and place. Read More Hey everybody. How would you feel about a movie that attempts to represents a special historical period in your Italian or lets say Jewish culture but there are like only one Italian or Jewish person in the movie, the rest are all, black??? I guess In Jamie Kennedy's Bizzarro world, New Wave and Heavy Metal never existed and all the many white kids who hated Hip Hop and called it Jungle music had no choice but to love it. Well, I don't know how you would feel but after a few minutes of watching this movie, I decided to ignore all that. It's a comedy after all and it's Jamie Kennedy, who totally surprised me with this character. You totally felt for this guy regardless of his ridiculous behavior. The plot was also ridiculous but came together very well. I think Michael Rosenbaum as Kip Unger was hilarious. I would recommend this movie to anyone who Loves Hip Hop, The Hip Hop 80's were a great time in my life and for 109 minutes of my life, so was this movie. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? This move sucks!!! The only redeeming quality is the asian guy from mad tv. There are a couple of funny lines here and there, but overall, it's just plan stupid.
