Read MoreA twisted story with a twisted ending. Demi Moore's rendition of the so-called hardened detective is squishy soft...but still probably her best performance. A better description would be to call the character "a snooty detective." (Demi Moore seriously needs to take acting lessons from Julianne Moore on how to play a hardened detective.) There are a couple of surprises within this story. It is even set-up for a series...perhaps it will be called Mr. Brooks Inc., ...only after Demi Moore learns to act.
