Read MoreThis is one of those goofy movies that you rent because it's raining outside and you figure: o.k. what do I have to lose? Surprise! This little movie turns out to be a true joyfest. Great for the kids, with that great double layered writing that adults will enjoy(I actually found it really funny),as well. Great cast, good writing,good direction. i can't believe i sat through this entire mess of a movie. my wife wanted to leave 20 minutes into it. for some reason i wanted to see the ending. big mistake. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

But this was actually a great family movie. My 4 year old who normally doesn't sit through any movie other than the Simpsons, sat through this one and was engaged in the movie the entire time. True it is about lights, but it is quick and fast paced and was a great little family movie. I would recommend it to anyone with small children and looking to enjoy a holiday movie with them.
