Read MoreThe critics really hated this movie, and rightfully so, but I didn't find it as horrible as it is. And it is pretty bad. It's in the tradition of "Jingle all the Way" or the episodes of "Home Improvement" where Tim tries to outdo his neighbor with Christmas decorations. It's full of stupid stunts and unrealistic reactions by charecters that's supposed to make movies like this funny. Luckily, the actors in this bad Christmas movie are not Sinbad and Arnold (or any of the losers in "Snow Day") so I found some of the gags amusing. Devitto and Brodrick make it work. Sorta. There's actually a few laughs in "Deck the Halls." So feel free to pop this DVD in if you got nothing going on. Watch it with your family. At the very least you can all talk about how stupid it is once it's over. And that is what good family entertainment Hollywood style is all about. Unfortunately... Hilarious! This movie has a blend of good laughts!! Very good family movie with a spice....No profanity or Sex is involved. It is what it is, a good clean holiday movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
