Not the best movie I have ever seen in my life ... Read More This movie was good. It was not marketed properly so people expecting a laugh a minute will be disappointed. It is a subtle, sweet and charming movie. Not the best movie I have ever seen in my life but a pleasant way to spend two hours. Read More i saw this when it first came out in theaters and was glad i did....it's original and verry funny..the "sweded" films are hilarious and the acting is very good...my only complaint is i wish they had "sweded" more films...there were so many more they could have made parodies of...beyond that i loved it. Read More This is one of those movies that never takes off. It seems to go in one direction, then abandons that one to take off on a totally different arc, only to abandon that as well. Jack Black does what he can with the material, but he doesn't get many opportunities. The movie begins with promise, and then degrades into a boring mess and ends flat with no resolution of anything it started. I fell asleep. I can only guess that multiple rewrites muddied the script while it was being filmed. Surely this isn't how anyone intended the movie to turn out. My advice is to rent something else. They should have spent more time on the parody ... Read More I wanted to love this movie, but hated it instead. Fast forwarded through 1/2 of it. Only laughed out loud once (during the ghostbuster's remake). They should have spent more time on the parody remakes the characters did but instead they only showed small clips of all the others (after ghostbusters). BORING! Do not waste your time!
