I don't know what all the Academy hype was about. This film was mostly horrible and gory. Had an inxeplicable plot-line and a mysterious ending. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreIf you adore Coen Brothers films, you'll likely enjoy this too. If not, don't expect anything worthy of all the hype, let alone the Best Picture Oscar. Javier Bardem deserved a statue for his chilling performance but that's the films sole highlight (unless you count all those 80s cars, sets and haircuts as a plus). The story is fragmented, slow, and unresolved. Too many people think that an unconventional finish to a film gives it deeper meaning or that it deserves credit for bucking Hollywood - but at the end of the day No Country is just not a great story and the ending certainly plays a part in that. They probably could've made the movie ONLY about him..the beginning was good, kept me interested...but Tommy Lee Jones..really had no point in the movie-basically the movie could've been made WITHOUT him and it wouldn't have affected how the movie turned out-then again maybe it would've been a great movie because the ending was the worst ending known to man in the history of movies.
