The ending was very interesting and made you think about whether doing the right thing is the best thing. Casey Affleck handled the role well as the main character. This great thing about this movie is the absence of fluff. It gets down to the nitty gritty blue collor streets of boston with "real" people. Liked the movie, but it did get slow at points. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

As the story unfolds, the pieces of the puzzle are not falling into place. Who really is the bad guy? There is good acting, but the script is heavy on four letter words. Read MoreI hope this is the last film we see by Casey Affleck. This seems a clear case of an older brother aka Ben Affleck trying to help his little bro get into the business. Casey's attempts at an East Coast accent are laughable at best, and his character isn't in the least bit believable. As for the script itself, the plot was so predictable in spots and the characters cliche. Come on people! With a little more thought and attention to detail you could have given us characters with complex personalities who struggle with the moral and emotional ambiguities that are sine qua non to human experience. HAD AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF EXTREMELY FOUL LANGUAGE.MAY HAVE BEEN A GOOD STORY, BUT THE LANGUAGE WAS SO BAD I TURNED IT OFF AFTER ABOUT 15 MINUTES. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
