Ed Harris is fantastic as usual, as is the rest of the supporting cast, even the virtual unknowns. A little too heavy on the profanity and strong language for my taste, but I understand the nature of the people being portrayed - just seemded that it could have been toned down some. Other than that, extremely thought provoking human drama with a lot of twists and turns leading to a great ending. I can't wait for Ben's next project if it is as well made as this. It was very realistic - the mom reminded me of my clients. However, some was Hollywood taking creative license and not true to life, such as the custody issues at the end. Read MorePerhaps if Ben Affleck, one of my favorite actors, had used a Thesaurus when he wrote this story, he could have found better descriptive words other than the F word. I could only watch about the first 30 minutes. The language was way past offensive. Casey Affleck mumbled through his lines and it was hard to understand what he was saying, other than the F word. He got that one out clearly enough. My suggestion is this...if you decide to watch it, make sure the kiddos are out of earshot. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
