It follows how they are connected to each other and how they help each other be themselves in the long run. It's also entertaining to see Rupert Grint, Ron Weasley from Harry Potter, get to kiss a girl and say more curse words other than "bloody hell." It will be added to my collection sometime in the future. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More More than just learning to drive this quality film is a tame, coming-of-age story about a teen named Ben (well acted by Rupert Grint and his great repertoire of facial expressions). Driving lessons take a back seat to Ben's taking a job as an assistant to Evie, an old actress (show-stealing Julie Walters) who still has a flair for theatrics. Evie drags Ben traipsing all over the countryside, defying his strict mother (Linney) who demands he come home. Along the way Ben transitions from boy to man (It's not Harold and Maude - Evie is not involved at all). Its a brief obligatory bit with someone else, nothing graphic. The classic theme is about learning to stand up and decide your own destiny. Not too heavy but not for kids. Fine work. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

He is hampered by a well-meaning but overbearing mother (Laura Linney). He takes a summer job as an assistant to an excentric aging actress (Julie Walters), and she takes him on the greatest adventures of his life. Overall, this movie is a blend of 'Harold and Maude' meets 'Saved'. If you like off beat comedy, this is an excellent pick. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I expected too much and hated it. Not only did I not finish it, I blocked out the part that I did watch. There's something in there about an elderly actress. I don't know, it's blocked. Rent something else, but don't ever, no matter what, even if it's free, don't ever, and I mean it, don't watch FOUR ROOMS. HELLO... BLOCKBUSTER... I'm still waiting on my 90 minute refund for that one and my 30 minute refund on this one! Shake it off, shake it off... Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
