There were a lot of innuendo based gags in the film that didn't really contribute to anything but the PG-13 rating.
And yet, there were some real connection points. Like when Tim Allen is grazing on his salad at the dinner table while eveyone else ate meat and potatos. I've been there. Sometimes you really do want to just take a bite out of the stick of butter. I found myself laughing a lot. I'm glad I didn't pay movie theater prices for the film, but renting it was okay. But it is what it is. At times it seems a little long but there are some truly funny parts if you allow yourself to just go with it. There are a lot of cameos by big names and everyone seems to just have fun with it. It's much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. If you're looking for anything deeper than light hearted fun, look elsewhere. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||
