I didn't know what to expect when renting this, but my fiance and I loved it. She likes British shows, so the dry situational humor is all there [as well as some overt really funny stuff], and the acting is actually pretty decent. It's sort of Fargo-meets-C grade horror flick. There is some gore in it, but it's almost humorous the way the effects are brought in. The last parts of the movie are hysterical, and there is plenty of funny stuff mixed in. Recommended.

I wasn't sure about renting this one, I loved these two blithering idiots in Sean of the Dead, but hadn't heard much about the movie. It is fun, and downright stupid in the same tradition as Sean of the Dead. Not quite as funny but twice as ridiculous, if your running low on options on new rentals, and just want a fun movie that's a little over the top get this one.

I saw the trailer for this movie at the theatres, and decided then that I wanted to eventually see it (it's hard to find time to do much of anything when you have small children). The casting was pretty good, but I found it was a little hard to follow the dialect because of their accents. Still, everything flowed well. Some parts of the storyline were a little too far fetched in my opinion, but I was never bored throughout the film. It definitely had some funny moments in it, and I thought it was cool to see the bond that these two cops from opposite sides of the spectrum developed. I would recommend this film.

The movie starts off so slow and bad, I was almost ready to stop it and ship it back about 30 minutes in, but if you can make it through the beginning once the story gets going the movie is hilarious. About the only downside to the movie are a few aweful gory scenes that wouldn't be suitable for kids, the gore adds nothing to the movie so it was a huge mistake to include it I think. The jokes in the beginning really sneak up on you, they are few but very funny and original, then once the middle hits the movie gets really funny and original, definitely worth a rental.

Not one of the best cop spoofs at all. Two decent scenes in the whole movie. I guess it is just that the movie doesn't go anywhere. Not funny.

This movie had it's moments but I just couldn't watch it to completion. Just depends on what type of humor you are looking for!

This was one of the most terrible movies I've ever seen! It had such potential and could have been entertaining without all the gore and offensive language. Speaking of gore and offensive language...Saving Private Ryan could have been a children's movie compared to some of the scenese in Hot Fuzz, and the continual use of derrogatory profanity towards/about women was enough for me to shut the movie off early. I deeply regret subjecting my eyes and ears to such trash!

This was worse than Shaun of the Dead. At least that had zombies.
