I'm not usually a fan, but if you are you'll probably like this. The one thing that hooked me was the tie in to Graham Hancock's Fingerprints of the Gods. One of my favorite books, and Graham is one of my favorite writers. So basically, the view that the Sphinx and Great Pyramid were being constructed by an advanced civilization around 10,000 BC is a concept I personally agree with. So - I liked it. I hoped for more, but wasn't surprised when I didn't get it. Ultimately, a run of the mill action flick. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

After watching the trailer I was excited thinking this could be a prehistoric Apocalypto type film. As soon as the movie started and everyone spoke fluent English I new that this movie lacks any kind of historic truths, my excitement levels dropped fast. This movie would have probably done a lot better as a Disney Cartoon. After kicking all the expectations out of my mind, the movie kept my interest and was entertaining. Read More This movie is nothing more than a pre-teen fantasy wishy-washy Disney wannabe. They should list reviewers ages on here as I would think most of the positive reviewers are under 12. The entire movie from the very beginning words of the narration is agonizing. The love story plot is lame and so worn out. Throw in some gobbledy gook magic future-seeing old mother of the tribe, some talking to a truck sized vicious saber-tooth tiger that becomes your friend for saving its life, and other fairy-tale childrens story ideas and you have this movie.
