Read MoreI saw this movie not long after it had come out. Although it isn't what I expected, based on commercials or movie trailers it was a good movie! It is a love story and a story of compassion when different tribes or beasts come together. You could follow the theme of the movie all the way through. I will buy it on DVD when it comes out. the movie was ok however antelope, sabor tooth, mamoth, voltures, goats iron swords and shields, veils, ships with sails, all in the same time zone kinda destroyed any integrity the movie had WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read Morewhen the previews of this film came out, it looked like a good epic film, but boy was i wrong! this film was a absolute joke! are you serious? how camilla belle has a career in hollywood i have no idea,terrible actress in every aspect. i felt cheated and misled after watching this movie. i thought it was going to be some kind of man vs. dinosaur epic but it was a love story with a few fighting scenes in between.i was disgusted. not to mention the modern day english language in caveman times, the wardrobe, the weapons and hairstyles is a absolute disgrace. this is the kind of film that ends careers. i never heard of this director but my guess is its gonna be a long time before a studio trusts him with a big budget film again. he blew it. i dont recommend to rent unless you jus wanna see the visual effects.
