Great movie, cool plot, right up until the end. Once you reach the end, you get the impression something like this happened: "Whoops! We ran out of money, end the movie here and NOW!" WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I rented this movie because I am a fan of Nicholas Cage, and I was really disappointed. I couldn't follow the story-line at all. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Nicolas Cage at his best in this awesome movie plays a man with the ability to see the future and change the outcome of events before they occur is forced to choose between saving himself and saving the world in this supernatural thriller. FBI counter terror agent Callie Ferris (Julianne Moore) captures Cage (Cris) and uses him like a sniffing dog using his exceptional gift to look into the future but every time he does the future changes and the movie has a surprising ending. Jessica Biel, Peter Falk, and Thomas Kretschmann are excellent choices for the co-staring roles in this film, which is based on a short story by acclaimed sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. But then, suddenly the film just ended and I was left brutally disappointed. The producers of this film, it would appear, fully expected that a Franchise was in the works, for without a Sequel, Viewers are just left hanging. I did not expect that in the least and with the poor box office of this film, I just don't see a sequel ever being made. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

You have to suspend your questioning of these rules at times to enjoy the movie. I did, and I did. I gave in to the movie and just enjoyed the ride, until it slammed into a brick wall and just stopped. I really don't know how to rate a movie I enjoyed, but hated the ending! Still I wanted more at the end, not less. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
