Read MoreSaw this movie with my husband and this movie kept us both entertained. I agree, Nicholas Cage was creepy, greasy and old looking in this movie. Why would Jessica Biel's character take on this non-attractive, old loner? But overall I liked this movie. It was easy to follow considering all of the flashbacks from the future and back to real time. It reminded me of a few movies that were already made such as the Butterfly Effect (highly recommended movie if you haven't already seen it) when he kept trying to visualize the future in different ways to see what the outcome would be and to prevent death in the future. I rented this because I really like Nicolas Cage and also Julianne Moore, but this movie was in all likelihood the worst one either has made to date. The plot was at many times unbelievable and again, the screenwriting was horrendous. The only time I would recommend this is if you have absolutely nothing else to do with your time and are in the mood to poke fun at many corny scenes in a movie that is attempting to be a serious action flick.
