Except for the fact that CZJ and AE are well known in the US, I can see no advantages to this remake. In fact, many of the changes in No Reservations are baffling - since they seem to be superficial, made only to claim some sort of independence from the antecedent. Please check out Bella Martha (also called Mostly Martha). Even if you aren't that familiar with foreign films - this movie is worth the effort of reading the subtitles. Read More I was let down when I saw this movie. It had all the ingredients (no pun intended at all!) to be a really good move, and it was good at times, but something just seemed to be lacking the whole movie long. I like Catherine Zeta-Jones, but I think an actress who could have pulled off some lighter stuff may have been better. I was ready to love this movie, so I was really let-down. I do recommend it, but just go into it not expecting it to be great, and you'll probably enjoy it more. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I enjoyed it. Ideal choice for watching with your sweetie and sharing a fancy dessert (you'll want one after you've watched the movie, anyway!). The distributors were smart to release it on DVD just before Valentine's Day. Bon appetit! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

This is it !!!!!!!!!!!!.Cath-zeta Jones and Aaron have good chemistry on-screen. Its too bad MORE movies cant be made of this SAME QUALITY. This is a MUST WATCH to see how movies SHOULD be made. FOUR STARS.I am taking off one star because of its slow pacing ,but otherwise its a near PERFECT film. You would have to be brain -dead and a zombie- if you say you didnt like this movie. This Film shows you why CZJ is one the BEST actresses on screen today.
