At first I thought this was a made-for-tv movie, but that wasn't so bad. I am not a religious person and I do not know of this story but I found the movie intriguing none the less. The best part is the end and I enjoyed everything up to the end. Good movie.

I loved this movie. The scenery was beautiful and the torment that Esther felt was well conveyed. I didn't like that the movie varied too much from the Bible. There a few too many liberties that weren't necessary. The accurate Bible story would have been more beautiful. It was also a little "too clean". I would have liked to have seen some nice, wholesome, fully clothed love scenes. The king was a bit stiff but I thought he was handsome enough for Esther to fall in love with him. Lastly, the movie fired me up to read the book of Esther in the Bible!
