If you are emotional, have tissues available. Acting was excellent and so was the story. I have a greater appreciation of our Coast Guards and how they put their lives at stake to save others. A fine script, fine acting from Kutcher & Costner. Got to see the Coast Guard get its chance in the spotlight. But the film just felt like a cross between "Top Gun", "GI Jane" & "Major Payne". I cannot believe that there are so many Great Reviews for this film -- that is a total mystery. This movie was just flat out plain boring and very long. This movie just continued to drag and drag out some more. There are only a couple rescue scenes, mostly in the first 5 minutes of the film and the last one at the very end, and you will only see this if you don't happen to fall asleep first.
