Read More A well-made, low-budget suspense movie that could have been so much more. First of all, you will instantly guess the "mystery" if you watch the trailer, or even watch the DVD menu! (why do they do that?) So WARNING!
The film has nice pacing and great shots that provide a very atmospheric experience. However, the "shock" of the subject matter is used to avoid any character development, plot, or emotional attachment. If you are not gripped/horrified/intrigued by the basic premise, you will find this movie as exciting as watching a coin toss over and over again. Whether you find this film disturbing, or boring will probably depend on whether or not you have seen this kind of thing before. It's a well-made little film based on a single concept that will (in keeping with the theme of the film) be hit or miss for most viewers.

For those who are tired of the standardized Hollywood formula, this is something diffferent. For the rest, go see the latest Steven Seagal flick. This was an outstanding film, and to describe it as "boring" defies imagination. It is shot beautifully, and the emotions the actors convey without loads of silly dialogue are profound. The black-and-white format only adds to the feel of this spectacular film. Be forewarned, you will not like this if you dislike subtitles or black-and-white films.
