This movie is boring AND it sensationalizes when it doesn't need to; thus losing all credibility.

This movie is boring AND it sensationalizes when it doesn't need to; thus losing all credibility.
Important points in the film about the dire situation of our planet are backed up with stock footage from who knows when and where and that really deflates the validity of the points and of the film as a whole.
I would strongly recommend these film makers take a class on how to get a point across to the public without losing them in the process.
This film only hurts our urgent need to activate the world where "Inconvenient Truth" does an incredibly better job at 5 stars for me while this film gets a star. I would give at least 3 stars for all the scientists that made the effort to be in it and some of the great points they make but the film makers do such a terrible job they deserve a -2 stars; thus evens out to One Star Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read More The only claim that was backed up with scientific fact was the population increased over the years. However, the reasons given were not very scientific, they appeared to be conjecture... Not clear, they just say progress did it.
All other claims were NOT backed up with scientific facts: global warming was caused by man, that all species are in a downgrade (implied the fault was with humans, although there were no scientific facts as to why), and we are running out of oil. I heard we would run out of oil in 1965 when I was in grade school, and they predicted we would be out of oil in 20 years. So the same people are still running around but now many more are beleiving them with NO facts!!!. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More We have many problems caused by massive pollution and corporate pillaging of the planet's resources. BUT, continuing to harp on this global warming thing is only detracting from the real issues! Mars is getting warmer; all the planets in our solar system are getting warmer, because the SUN has been getting warmer! Noone is driving SUV's on Mars.The debate on global warming is FAR from over. There are actually over 20,000 scientists trying to sue Al Gore for fraud, just so they can get the opportunity to debate this issue in public! The whole global warming religion is based on junk science,,and its proponenents will not allow an open and honest debate.If you want to confront the real issues, you have to start with the corporations. Unfortunately, the corporations have taken over the world, and our government actually reports to THEM now.
