Tim Conway as Dr. Tart and Don Knotts as Inspector Winship play two bumbling Scotland Yard investigators out to solve a double murder in this send-up of film noir and the mystery story. The intrepid Winship and his assistant Tart arrive at a Gothic mansion occupied by the grieving heiress Phyllis (Tricia Noble), whose parents have just been killed. Along with Phyllis are a crazed crew of employees ranging from the warrior cook to the well-endowed maid. You have got to watch this movie. It so funny and enjoyable. Conway and Knotts are so great together. Think they are better in this movie than in AppleDumpling Gang. enjoy

Excellent movie from the days of true comedy. The dialogue was kept clean and usable for all family members, except maybe the youngest. The quips and jokes could only be made as funny as they were by Knotts and Conway. The movie is a reminder of the days of Abott and Costello.

ok, really hokey, but I enjoyed it as will some of the younger ones, family oriented and pure silliness that only Conway and Knotts could do. They are very excellent being inepte and I loved Conway`s inventions, can`t believe that Knotts was the smart or brave one

Saw it years ago and loved it! Have been trying to find it everywhere so my kids could now see it; they too, loved it! Very funny, but you know it's gonna be good when you get Don Knotts and Tim Conway together! Getting ready to buy it for ourselves.

This is a great movie - - Don Knotts and Tim Conway can take you back to a type of buddy movie that they just don't make anymore...Movie has these two guys in their old form, stumbling over each other and getting a few chuckles. Don't expect to be rolling on the floor with laughter, but if you are a fan of the Knotts/Conway, you will definitely find yourself smiling all the way through!
