A laid-back health inspector's comfortable routine receives an unwelcome shake up when he's assigned the task of training his new rookie partner and investigating the outbreak of a mysterious illness at one of the city's most posh restraints in this no-holds-barred comedy starring Blue Collar standup king Larry the Cable Guy. It's all greasy spoons and low-rent ethnic eateries in the world of seasoned big-city health inspector Larry (Larry the Cable Guy), and that's just the way he likes it. After begrudgingly accepting the task of training by-the-books trainee Amy (Iris Bahr), Larry lands the biggest case of his career when a group of high-class diners fall ill following a particularly pricey meal. Though the gruff but lovable health inspector soon loses his job as a direct result of his questionable manners, he soon wins the heart of a shy waitress while attempting to go undercover to crack the case and ensure that the conspirators who engineered the poisonous plan are brought to justice. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

If bathroom humor and redneck jokes offend you, skip this movie, but if you are a "Blue Collar" fan, you will love this movie. I loved it!

We really like Larry the Cable Guy as a stand-up comic, however, we did not think this movie was very good. There were some funny one-liners delivered by Larry but for the most part it was just OK.

It was just ok for me. I was expecting it to be a lot funnier. See CARS instead. He's a lot funnier in that movie than this one!

Rented this cause I figured he was funny on TV, boy what a mistake. The movie dragged on with sad cliches and boring innuendno. He should stick with TV comedy cause main role casting is not his part for git'n it done!

It was actually better than I thought it was gonna be. Not the best comedy but also not the worst. I did laugh but it was no super troopers or old school.

only had a couple of funny moments... nothing what I was expecting. Thought would be better since blue comedy tour.... WRONG

I'm usually not a fan of this kind of potty humor, but because Larry is a lovable kind of oaf, or perhaps we all know somebody like Larry, it's funny! Some parts were absolutely hilarious, to the point I almost spit out my drink! Other parts were needlessly gross, and I'm still trying to figure out what purpose the retarded neighbor or Jerry Mathers cameo was for. They were unnecessary characters, and not very funny. If you like Larry or redneck humor, you'll like it

It's got a few funny parts, we got some laughs out of it. Ok movie if you like bathroom & redneck humor. We expected a little more from "Larry the Cable Guy" But it was alright.
