Yeah, I'm not going to lie, the first 5 minutes I was watching this I was wondering what in the world I got myself into. The previews looked good, but this was like a scene from Bambi meets Sleeping Beauty in the enchanted forest - but as time went on I realized Disney was just poking a little fun at themselves and it turned out to be a really cute movie. Of course, it's predictable just like all Disney movies are, but it was enjoyable at the same time. B+

Disney proves that not only are they at the top of their game, but they also have a sense of humor about it! This movie is a blend of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty with a smidge of Little Mermaid and Beauty & the Beast thrown in for a contemporary flavor. Be forewarned, it IS a Disney movie meaning that there is singing, dancing, animation, true love, and happily ever after. So, if that's not your thing, then don't go see this movie. But, if it is, you will be pleased with the way it all plays out in the end.

Disney making fun of itself, its oversized puffy sleeves and singing animals - clever, funny, sometimes close to tacky but skillfully never crossing the line. They are taking the art of not taking yourself seriously ... pretty seriously ! Actors performance was great, esp Prince Edward with his eager smile and exclamatoins. My boyfriend and I both laughed a lot. A lot of references to the Go'ol Disney cartoons which I must admit I sometimes miss in the face of the new animated world. A good watch.

I laughed so hard I nearly cried. Disney has always been at its best when it makes fun of itself - this movie takes that truth to a whole new reality. This is a sharp, witty and clever from beginning to end. Amy Adams is brilliant in the lead role - she captures every nuance of a fairy tale maiden perfectly. The song and dance numbers are amazing. The CGI aspects are inventive and effective. I fully intend to buy this movie as soon as it is released on DVD. Though the content is appropriate for children, I don't think its humor would be fully understood by those under the age of 13 or so.

Our Annual “Mother-Daughters Evening before Thanksgiving at the Movie Theater” took us to see this "darling" film. Unfortunately, my nine year old thought it was kind of corny and my 21 year old ditched us all together. I love the innocence portrayed by the characters in "fantasy" land. It should make us all realize what chaotic lives we lead. After the movie my daughters and I talked about how “magical” it is to be in love; how blessed Princess Giselle is to always be so cheerful; how others are not always as kind but there are people who are willing to extend a helping hand. WE WILL DEFINITELY SEE THIS MOVIE AGAIN! (all 3 of us)

I was looking forward to this movie since I like Patrick Demsey, fairy tales, and cartoons. Somehow it didn't come together and it was rather boring.

This movie is for all ages! It's a reminder of the wonderful Disney cartoons of old like Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, and many more! I highly reccommend it!
