Very creative and different movie. Leave it to Disney to come up with something new and entertaining! Although this is geared towards children, there is some humor for adults. Be aware that there are parts with the wicked witch that may be scary for younger children, especially the parts at the very end. I recommend this movie, especially for little girls who love princesses.

I loved this movie! So funny, so cute! I went to this movie even though I don't have kids. It's really funny for any age.

This movie spoofs a lot of Disney movies. It's a combination of animation and live actors, and, although targeted to children, adults who have watched Disney movies while growing up will like it. I thought it was very funny. Amy Adams was great as the almost princess. Her breaking out into song at many times got to be very funny. The prince who pursued her in the real world was over the top as he continued his princely behavior in the real world.

Beyond silly, but still really cute if you keep it in terms of it is a fairy tale brought to life. Translation, not reality.

At first I was kind of sceptical about this one, being it starts out animated. Once I realizsed hoe they were pulling this into a real life movie, it was great! Watch until the end, it is worth it!

The highlights of this movie for me were Jodi Benson, Paige O'Hara and Idina Menzel. So I'm a little girl at heart, still awed by my princesses. So what? This movie let me indulge in every fantasy and it understood lie few movies do that inner conflict That comes with wanting to believe in fairy tales and still live in the real world. I don't think it is geared to children at all. I think this is a movie written to romantics (most of whom; let's face it, are women)of all ages. If you don't want to be persuaded that there are happy endings, even in the real world, if you want to STAY cynical, then don't watch this movie.

Felt that Disney could have done a better job with the beginning. The cartoon didn't seem like it was Disney but a Disney copy-cat. Once the characters turned real, the movie moed along very well and had a lot of great humor in it (for adults too). Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

A litte "frothy" but cleverly executed fairy tale of a fairy tale princess (Amy Adams) who is thrust into non-fairy tale real world of New York City by evil, jealous stepmother & enchantress played by Susan Sarandon. Fun to watch the meshing of fairy tale land figures displaced in modern, realistic times as story unfolds. Cute, but not a the romance story underlining obviously is going to extremely predictable.
