You expect to live for many more years. Then you're told you are going to die in the near future. How do choose to live the rest of your life? These people chose love and happiness for as long as they could have it. A great story with humor, and of course the reactions to dying like anger. It was easy to like these characters and cry when it looked like Sarah was about to die.

If it weren't for the sheer likeability of the main characters, Dermot and Amanda, this movie would have been a train wreck. After the "discovery", it was played out with sure predictability and grim humor. If this is the 2006 version of Love Story (a TRUE classic), it failed miserably. A downer not worth the kleenex.
