The movie shows the war from the Southern Point of View-which was nice being a âÂÂYankeeâ I was able to see a different point of view to the conflict. The movie has something for everyone-it has some great battle scene footage, romance and some plot turns.
The actors are not as bad as people have previously written about in the reviews on here-it is a solid movie, not a great movie, but worth renting. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

A really good Civil War Movie...It depicts the hardships that befelled BOTH sides of the Civil War & the toll it took on them all....I thought the acting was great...based on a true story... WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Terrible acting and this was more of a love story than a war movie. We tried skipping a few scenes to see if it got any better but ejected after 20 minutes. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Julian Adams, the lead actor who portrays his great great grandfather, does a superb job. This is definitely worth renting. I can't wait to see Julian Adams in his next project!
