After watching the Prestige I was in awe. Unlike many films, the Prestige doesn't need explosions and sex and unessessary profanity to make itself a GREAT MOVIE. Christopher Nolan creates this masterpiece that the Illusionist cannot stand up to. If there was another movie nominated for BEST PICTURE it would be the Prestige - HANDS DOWN! I am glad I finally saw a mystery film where I didn't know what was coming 5 minutes before it occured on screen. Its not hard to watch unless you're about 11 years old or younger. If you don't like the Prestige...THAN YOU DON'T LIKE MOVIES.

After seeing 'The Illusionist' (very good film) I was prepared for a letdown in 'The Prestige'. Not only was it very well acted by Bale and Jackman but the supporting cast was superb. The storyline was very engaging and the end- well, so as not spoil it let's just say watch your obsessions. Chris Nolan's directing was pinpoint/suspenseful and the look/feel of the film was eye catching. I will watch it again.
