The directing, acting, cinamatography, music, and everything else was purely flawless. The story of The Prestige is one you will never forget, and the unveiling of that story will keep you glued to the edge of your seat from start to finish. Even after the credits roll, The Prestige still will not let you go until you have put some serious thought into the deeper meaning of the movie, themes that are extremely relevant in this day and age. At first I didn't want to see it, but after I saw it I wanted to see it again and again. Although, it is very, very confusing, but in the end you understand it a lot better, but you are still left thinking; of course.... that's magic. Read More Seeing how I had to rate this movie, I only rated it according to the preview, because I haven't seen it yet! This movie sounds geat and I can't wait to see it thanks to all your helpful reviews! I must say, it looked very inviting, possibly full of action, suspense, and hopefully something I'd enjoy seeing. Before I rent and choose a movie, I love to investigate and read other peoples reviews, just to be certain it's not a time waister. Believe it or not, it really helps to hear what you all have to say. Sadly, I only wished David B. would have given a little discretion and included "spoiler" before writing what the movie was going to be all about. Although I like to know what I'm up against, I still like the element of surprise. Sorry, no offense! I'm still planning on seeing this movie, thanks to all who have writen in their possitive opions.
