Read Morethe entire plot of the movie can be summed up in one sentence: "get revenge by killing all the viking invaders". you can leave your thinking caps at home. leave the children at home too. this movie is all blood and guts action. it seriously needs some twists, turns and suspense. even my husband who was so excited about seeing this movie opening weekend remarked afterwards that "it was alright, but not i'm gonna buy the dvd. 300 and apocalypto were much better." For the most part, men would give this at least 3 stars for the action sequence (which makes up 90% of the movie), but women viewers would probably give it a star lower for its lack of plot substance and mediocre acting. The best movie in this genre that contains the entire package - excellent fighting scenes, compelling story and acting - is "The Gladiator". Unfortunately, the "Pathfinder" offers nothing of value.
