The obstacles Miss Potter had to overcome to succeed were overwhelming. Miss Potter's spirit and strong sense of desire superceced these obstacles, thus creating one of the finest writers of children's stories! Additionally, I found this film to be very refreshing. The costumes were beautiful as well as the lush green fields of the English countryside. Renee Zellweger's performance was outstanding!! I would highly recommend this film to anyone......especially if you would like to take a trip back in time when life was lived by simplicity and love. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Not for you if you must have that action packed film but fabulous for the ones that love a good story teller. Renee has a great wit and comically biting vocabulary. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor are wonderful as their roles as Beatrix Potter and Norman Warne. Renee Zellweger does an excellent job of portraying Beatrix Potter with grace, charm, intelligence and hubris. Ewan McGregor gives a wonderful performance as the sensitive yet ardent publisher with whom Beatrix collaborates. The film is well cast and the settings are gorgeous and breathtaking. A movie worth watching over and over! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
