I loved this movie and will probably buy it. It may not catch the interest of children as the illustrations are not a large part of the movie, and it is more of a love story. This reminded me a bit of Finding Neverland, another movie I loved! If you are looking for a wild ride or nudity, you will not find it here, as there is only one sweet and innocent kiss through out the whole movie and not a single cuss word!! Hollywood, make more like this one!!!! A wonderful movie to snuggle up on the couch by yourself or with oyur sweetheart!! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I learned a lot that I didn't know about Miss Potter, and it was an interesting tale throughout. Roughly divided into 3 parts (a glimpse into the life of young Beatrix, middle-aged Breatrix becoming a published author, and the years that follow a certain tragedy). I actually enjoyed the first part the most, with Lucy Boynton delivering a wonderful performance as young Beatrix. I had a really hard time with the casting of Renee, but the story was interesting enough for me to dismiss that. The bonus features were quite enjoyable too, and worth watching. Ewan was splendid as always. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Renée Zellwegger bugs me with her body language at times (well most of the time), but she did do a good job at this role. I found the movie entertaining and I enjoyed the supplemental story on Potter's background in the extras. Ewan McGregor and Zellwegger had great chemistry. Supporting cast made the movie and loved the sets. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I really loved this movie since I am a fan of Beatrix Potter books. The animation in the film did not bother me since the artistic tempermant is a little offbeat anyway - I kind of liked it that she appeared "strange" to others. There were a lot of life lessons in this film - being true to self, loving and to be loved is vital in life, overcoming discouragement, etc. etc. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
