But I perisited a bit longer and--lo and behold--the plot began to gel and make sense. So.....if you're patient, there is an eventual payoff. .But if you're not the patient type, stay away AND BE GLAD YOU DID. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More although the premise for me was lost. i loved the look and feel of this movie. the cast and the casting were flawless. to me it did not seem long at all. i was sorry to see it end. i wanted more which is my main complaint. there seem to be more to the story that i didn't get. but it made me curious and had me thinking about it when it was over which is what a good movie shoud do. i'm doing my research online to find other opinions and info. this movie was beautifully made and artfully significant. bravo mr. coppola. bravo! Read More Although an attempt at film noir, Youth Without Youth is shot on video and features odd Dr. Who visual effects, puzzling from such an experienced director so it scores low on eye candy. The concept is strong but the script is weak and the movie just meanders for over 2 miserable hours, I had to watch it in 3 sittings!! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

This is a good way to totally waste 2 1/2 hours of your life that you will never be able to get back. You would have a far more enjoyable time painting that picket fence in the back yard your wife has been asking you to do for a year now. Thank goodness, I did not spend any movie at a theater to watch something like this! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I think it would have been better distilled into a 30 minute Twilight-Zone-like episode. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
