this movie was fairly weak. the basis of the story is interesting, full of philosophical issues and has the potential for good discussion. but the movie fails to make it interesting. i was expecting more from ryan reynolds and emily mortimer and was disappointed - it had all the potential to be a decent movie, but maybe the direction failed them? either way, i wouldn't both with this film.

My husband and I enjoyed this movie. We are avid Ryan Reynolds fans and thought that it is a nice change of pace when he takes on more serious roles than some of his previous comedies. The movie was thought provoking and had a good amount of plot twists (admittedly foreseeable plots twists at times) that kept it entertaining and interesting to watch.
