It had a sitcom kind of setup that fortunately develops in an interesting and satisfying manner. Another thing, it had one of those "only in movies and not to be found anywhere else" kind of families, which are heartwarming and you love to spend time with them but deep down, you know they don't exist.

This movie was not as funny as I had expected it to be from the previews but, overall, it was a good movie and worth watching.

This is a true classic...funny, tearful, thoughtful, engaging. The story is a little improbable, but I could identify with the family issues. Juliette Binoche was so different than when she was in "Chocolate", I didn't realize that it was the same actress until the end. It's a special family movie with a neat ending. Don't miss it!

I am not much of a slapstick comedy person, however, this film made me laugh out laoud a few times. A good light flick.

I just found this movie to be horribly boring and way too long. It had potential to be really good but just fell flat for me.

This is another one of those movies that in real life, if someone was this dumb, they wouldn't be anyone's friend. I totally lost interest within the first 15 minutes but tried to stick it out for Steve Carell's sake. Another 5 minutes was all I could handle. Nobody acts this stupid in real life which just goes to show you how out of touch with reality Hollywood really is. Or is it the writers that are out of touch with reality?

Very good movie...we enjoyed it. The only problem was with the disc itself....it froze up in a couple different places in the movie.

This movie is a total waste of time. The people that thought this was a good movie are dilusional.
